Saturdays 8am to 2pm
April 21st thru November 17th
Bank Street (between Main St. and Park St.) in the heart of downtown Peekskill
“Starting the outdoor season six weeks earlier than in past years benefits everyone – the vendors and the market shoppers,” said Bill Powers, Executive Director of the Peekskill Business Improvement District. “The Peekskill Farmers Market is the standout weekend activity of our vibrant waterfront community. We’re thrilled with the way the market has grown in response to the needs of our growing city.”
The Peekskill Business Improvement District (“BID”), sponsor of the Peekskill Farmers Market is starting the 2018 outdoor season on April 21st.
Produce comes direct from local farms within 250 miles of the market who bring vegetables, mushrooms, and a butcher’s shop assortment of organic meat including beef, chicken, pork, rabbit – you can even order an organic turkey right from the farm at Thanksgiving. You can join a CSA with a certified organic farm. Take home New York State cheese, bouquets of flowers, local honey & maple syrup, and fresh baked goods including gluten free options. Specialty food vendors bring Middle Eastern food, yogurt, and hummus. We are proud to feature New York State craft beer, wine & cider.
Every week we feature a variety of family friendly live entertainment including live music, children’s book authors, face painting, and juggling lessons. Check our website or Facebook page for weekly updates.
After shopping, please enjoy one of our renowned downtown Peekskill restaurants featuring both American and World cuisine – they’re happy to hold your farmers market bags in the fridge while you dine.
Come visit the Peekskill Farmers’ Market where the shopping is fun and the parking is free!
